Hey Delights!
I am excited that Black Plant Lovers will be participating in its first pop-up market this Saturday, Aug 21st.
When I created my “plantstagram” page back in June 2020 my only goal was to have a place to share my plants & connect with other plant lovers.
By September that connection turned into a beautiful business where I get to share not only my love of one of natures greatest gifts but I also get to explore my creativity in ways I always wished I could.
We have been doing pop-ups for Joes vegan food business, Green V’Stro but to now get out on the streets with my own business is truly a thing of joy for me.
It is also a LOT of work and my chronic pain has gone to a whole new level of hell recently but I am determined to keep pushing forward.
The pop-up is hosted by The Lemonade Land an organization that started hosting events back in 2020 for small businesses to be able to sell their goods safely outside in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago.
There will be a variety of businesses on tap & live music! Joe will also be there with her banging vegan gyro, “The V’Ro” and sweet treats.
I will of course have plant babies & I am also bringing some of my T-shirt designs, mugs & totes, planters and more!

Wishing you and Joe all the best with your pop-up. With my arthritis I find that the more I do the better I feel. Sometimes I just push myself to do more. But I truly understand. I have Lupus and inflammation throughout my body but I try to keep it moving.

Hey Suzette! Thank you and yes, normally I keep things “bearable” by staying active also so this latest onslaught was so unexpected . Thankfully I seem to be past the worst of it 🙏🏾
