O.M.G I cannot believe that it is day 11 already!
One of the main principles behind the 12 days of January was about a series of small actions you could take that would instantly improve the quality of your life.
What I has been confirmed throughout these first 11 days of January 2021 is that while physically some of the actions are small, in the full scheme of things, they connect you to the big things.
When I first created this series back in 2017 I got the inspiration to do so while I was soaking in the bathtub. So a lot of the first episodes were recorded in the bathtub because it’s one of the places where I get so much inspiration.
So as I have been spending these 11 days of 2021 examining “my days”, I was reminded of a lot of things including how much I miss my soaks.
They are my “Nirvana” so the fact that I think I probably only took a handful of soaks in 2020 shocks me.
Granted as we all know it was the most unimaginable year but you would think that would inspire us to do the things that we really love, that really brings us comfort, that really inspire and motivate us.
But it didn’t.
So today for Day 11 we are going to chat about the things we deny ourselves.
And yes I know that topic is definitely not a small one but as I noted above, the small things tend to remind you of the full breath of things.

The 12 Days of January 2021 podcast series features actions that you can take during the first 12 days of January to create habits & rituals that will instantly improve the quality of your life throughout the year.
The name of the series is a play on one of my favorite Christmas carols, The 12 Days of Christmas, which is of course the countdown of the series of increasingly grand gifts that a true love gives to the receiver.
And I chose that because these small actions that you will be encouraged to make during The 12 Days of January are all about focusing on yourself and giving yourself options to make your life instantly better.
