The CurvaCast Episode 16: An Interview, Inspiration, Rants, Travel & A Plea To Women
Welcome back to another episode of The CurvaCast. It’s been a minute so I am sharing quite a bit in this episode of the CurvaCast. As mentioned in my Universal Standard giveaway post, there are clips from my interview with Alexandra Walden, the co-founder of Universal Standard. {Hint: I also mention the answer to the giveaway during the podcast around minute 39}, so if you missed my Instagram stories, you can find it there to enter.😊
this episode. As mentioned in my
I went to see Janet Jackson in concert and she was AMAZING! I haven’t danced as much as I did that night in a very long time. And because it was Janet, I had to go with a rocker chic but movable vibe, so I rocked my one shoulder faux leather top again (last seen here). Get links to recreate this vibe on my liketoknow.it page.

There are also a couple of travel tips, recaps of the amazing events that I have been to and how they have inspired me. And a rant about brands who blow it with bogus promotions, and how all who appear woke, ain’t and the need for women to stop it with the self deprecation and a few other things.
As mentioned in the podcast, here are links where you can find the books that I mentioned: The post that I wrote about Latham Thomas coming to Chicago, Glennon Doyle’s Amazon page & my mini review of Born A Crime by Trevor Noah.
Also, here is a link to the spiritual center that we visited: Bohdi Spiritual Center, it was pretty awesome and I will definitely be going back. A snap from the Englewood 5K that I participated in and a link to the Oprah & Deepak 21 day meditation & a link to the hair cream that I get on auto delivery that I almost had to give up.
Here I am rocking the puffer jacket from Universal Standard that I am so IN LOVE with!
Oh and I just wanted to put it out there in case you missed it, my initial podcast series is called the 12 days of January. I have been debating if I am going to create a new series for the new year but I haven’t decided yet and that is because the tools and tips mentioned during the original series can be used at any time to instantly improve your life.
I have actually been revisiting them myself lately, especially with the end of the year approaching, so I don’t know. I created the original series because I got incredibly inspired while soaking in the bath, so who knows, maybe I will get that tub full of bubbles inspiration again. But now without further ado, here is episode 16 of The CurvaCast.
