{My Style} Fab Werkwear Series:| Leather

Faux leather has become a staple in my wardrobe and really one of my all time favorite fabrics to rock. And while leather may or may not have been a work option for you depending on the industry or type of job you have, I think today, with all the wonderful ways that leather, real and faux are being used, it is a perfect option for the office.

Here are a few examples. I especially love this faux leather trim dress.

I originally was going to wear my blue faux leather top (seen here) with my perforated faux leather skirt (seen herehere) and a simple black blazer.  But in the end I went with this Calvin Klein Marble Print Faux Leather Pleated Skirt (sold out/here in all black) for this weeks Fab Werk Wear challenge because on first look, it is not really obvious that the skirt is faux leather because of the marbelized print and it would be easy to rock it in even the most conservative of work environments.

I actually forgot that I owned this Lands End shirt and boo on me. It’s such a great piece. I especially dig that the buttons are covered because it just creates a nice, clean line. And I love that it has a collar that stands up well.

I own several of these Calvin Klein skirts (the white one featured here, and the abstract print one here) and I usually have to size down in this style of skirt from the brand. The belt is from Carmakoma (c/o) and it is a very lux faux and a great length, which is sometimes an issue with plus size obi belts.

I have had these suede pumps for a couple of years now and I don’t wear them often but they are perfect for those times I want a comfortable, classic heel.

How are you rocking leather at work?
