{What I Wore} Let Them Know…N O P E!
I had a very productive day yesterday, which started off visiting the offices of Care.org, an organization that does amazing work around the world with a focus on improving the lives of women and girls. I also met with one of my fab blogger boos to interview her for The Curvacast. So stay tuned for that…it’s GOOODDD!
I wore my new favorite piece, this bad ass N O P E. Not today sweatshirt (which is on major sale today) and I am still living in my Universal Standard distressed jeans. I am standing in front of The National Veterans Art Museum’s exhibition Above & Beyond at the Harold Washington Library.

It is a great piece that features thousands of dog tag. I always like to stop and spend a moment of time with when I see it. It’s in a relatively dark space and it was a dark, rainy day and my phone didn’t capture it all that great but I still wanted to share it. You will be seeing a lot more of the art around Chicago on the blog this year. There are so many great pieces that celebrate and support a variety of subjects and I want to share that. You can check out the last mural that I shared that is currently on the Chicago Cultural Center here.
I also had my say regarding all the talk surrounding brands who don’t see a need to be diverse in their marketing. I hope that everyone who is bothered by this will speak the way that we all can speak the loudest, WITH YOUR DOLLARS!
