{What I Wore} Fall Into Stripes

Last month when I went to see Beyonce in New Orleans, I was walking down Canal Street and happened upon one of those no name shops that usually have really trendy, cute, cheap clothes and decided to go in. My main reason for doing so was that I wanted a top. I had packed in a new, edited way (details coming soon) and at the last minute wanted a colorful top to rock with the black leggings I had with me.

I didn’t find a top that I really liked but just as I was about to walk out, I spotted this multi-striped caped jumpsuit on a rack by the register and had to have it. It had several things that I love going for it, it had a cape, it was striped and it was very well priced at just $45.  The fact that it is also made of a great stretchy material, so wearing it is not restrictive or binding at all sealed the deal.

{Feeling like wonder woman, especially with the way the sun hit my cuff..haha}

Gold Metal Clutch: Thrifted (similar) | Fergalicious Wedges:
(In multiple colors I own 3 of them) |  Similar Gold Bangle | Sunglasses

Finding this jumpsuit in multiple colors in straight sizes online here & here was easy but finding it in plus sizes was a challenge. I found it in yellow, blue & white stripes and here in the blue, orange and white print that I am wearing but it was very limited.

UPDATE: Found this jumpsuit at Pop Up Plus NY

There were also a couple of other listings on ebay but the descriptions were off, so I didn’t link to them. I also found a striped cape jacket in the same style at Deb Shops in two colors & a similar plus size style here.

Size notes: I am wearing a 3x which means that this is sized like junior plus.

 Here are some other cute multiple stripe styles that I found.

I am really loving these prints. What say you?
