Labor of Love: Breast Cancer Awareness
Since 2006 I have run a campaign highlighting the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
In previous years, this took place on my now closed to public eyes blog, PSD.
Thankfully, I do not know of anyone close to me that has or had breast cancer.
But in my mind, anything that effects the health of women (and men to a much smaller degree) in such a devastating manner as this disease does, should be on everyone’s get the word out list.
And obviously not just during one month but it is great that there is such a huge push during what has become Breast Cancer Awareness Month, October.
So, once again I have and continue to spend time perusing the web and magazines and talking to people about this issue and I will highlight some of my findings here.
Some of the posts will be of goodies where companies have generously agreed to donate a portion of sales for certain products to various organizations that work diligently for this cause.
Other posts will be much more serious and deal with things such as the proper way to self examine, current research and findings, etc.
So, I look forward to sharing this with you.
