Curvatude on the Scene: Happy Feelings in the Air!

Tonight was a fantastic music filled night.

What I thought was going to be a quick drop in to support my girl Kelley Moseley of K-FLEYE Designs, ended up being a night of full on fun and entertainment.

Not only did I get a chance to dance to the music of Fathom DJ, a female DJ that I have been a big fan of for years but I also got to experience some fantastic artists.

The line up was full or rich melodic, soulful singing and a band that had me on my feet.

First up was Daniel Hammond, a neo-soul, jazz and gospel singer. His album is set to be released in April and I can not wait.

And sadly, I have forgotten the name of the second act {need to find that out… its like 1:30 am while I am writing this..forgive me}. But the live full band and the singer were totally amazing!

The last act that I got to see before I had to leave was Khari Lemuel and Yaw. Talk about incredible energy and spirit.

Take some time to listen to Yaws rendition of Happy Feelings… on his myspace page….it inspired this blog post…and really summed up the entire experience.
