Curvatude on the Scene.. February Happenings..

This is way overdue but I wanted to share it anyway. February was definitely a full fun filled month.

Besides going to New York City during Fashion Week, I of course spent some time hanging out here in the Chi.

On Feb 18th CRAVEChicago, one of the stocking clad legs of the CRAVE company held the Blissful Bloggette party at the JBar at The James Hotel, which I had the pleasure of attending.

The champagne was flowing and the Blogging Blogettes were on the scene.

One of the coolest things about the CRAVE company besides the fact that they are based in several cities and hold a variety of events on a regular basis, is their CRAVEguides.

I received one of the Chicago versions of the guide at the event and I love it.

For one, there are so many fantastic women holding down some really cool businesses that you get to learn a little about.

And two, I am glad to say that I have found that as much as I think I know about my city, I have a lot to learn.

Needless to say, my book is all tagged and dogeared {which is so not like me. I am anal about the condition of my books} but there are a lot of businesses that I wanted to make sure that I check out. {You can take a sneek peek here}.

I am also excited to attend another event that CRAVEChicago has coming up, the Bloom + Tone Party – a beauty and wellness event!

It sounds fun and what better way is there to ring in spring {and shed the winter layers} than by getting your workout on?

I also attended one of my yearly events, the Chicago Motorcycle Show. This year we went on a Friday as opposed to a Sunday and I am glad that we did. It was half as crowded and we were able to cover the show fairly quickly.

Is this bike crazy or what?

Another fun thing that I did was attend a Double Stitch Twins event called from Passion to Profit. Make sure you check them out at their next event at the Macy’s State Street Trunk Show 3/11 & 3/12.

{here the twins are looking extra cute}

I also had the pleasure of brunching at Kitsch’n Roscoe with Nicole of NikStar So Amazing and her baby sis.

{such a sweet girl}

Oh and I went to this fantastic all you can eat chocolate event called Chocolate & Dessert Fantasy at Crimson Lounge. The folks who threw this party did not slack on the offerings…there was chocolate everywhere!

I did a bunch of other stuff also, like payed my first visit to Karyn’s on Green {divine & crazy delicious}.

Overall it was a great month and I am expecting this one to be even better…I have already gone to the 5th Anniversary party for Timeout Chicago magazine @ National 27 {strangely that night i pretty much only took pictures of what i was eating and dranking!  Can you say ABSOLUT?}

I gotta run!!
