Back to Black..
The Curvatude Hair Chronicles continues..
As previously blogged, my hair and I have a somewhat of a give or take relationship.
After writing that post back in January, I did in fact cut my hair but I didn’t cut it as much as I had originally thought that I would, so it really didn’t feel like much to share, so I never did.
Lately, I have been wearing this crochet hat that I picked up from h&m while in New York last month
It was my alternative to my preferred head gear: a scarf.
But very late last night I decided that I wanted to dye my hair black. For one, Spring is here even if it’s currently 30 degrees outside and I really don’t want to spend it wearing scarves and hats.
In years past, I would lighten my hair in the warm months and dye it black in the cold months.
My hair has been many shades of goldie brown.
And I even went red a couple of times. Not deep maroon red but a reddish brown because I feel that brown is always the best when it comes to my skin tone.
But since I haven’t done the whole seasonal darker/ligher change in years, it seemed almost appropriate that I am now totally flipping the script.
So I am back to black…
