AJWright Preview and Giveaway

AJWright is a division of The TJX Companies, Inc. They are also the sister company of some of my favorite shopping stops: TJMaxx, Homegoods and Marshalls.

A couple of weeks ago a group of us local bloggers were given a preview of the newest AJWright to open in the Chicagoland area.

Although I practically live in its sister store TJMaxx, I am probably one of the only people who had never been to an AJ Wright store before.

I was very impressed with the store. Besides being bright and welcoming, there was something for everyone and every room in a home.

And so much more.

While there, our shopping skills were put to the test.

We were each given $100 to see how we would maximize it.

I decided that instead of going for outfits I wanted to stay on point with my shopping agenda for this season and find pieces that were easy and relaxed and that I could wear with things that I already own.

My only concern prior to my arrival was “plus size girl shopping anxiety” —

“Would they have enough selection in my size or if would I end up shopping for accessories?”

Thankfully AJ Wright had plenty of plus size options.

Actually way more than I could have hoped for, making it extra hard to decide on what to buy AND stay within my budgeted amount.

When it was all said and done, I ended up with quite a few pieces.

Mostly dresses, as I live in them mainly during the warmer months.

I ended up with 6 dresses and a pair of jeans all for a grand total of $107.

In the coming weeks I will start posting some Rockin Curvatude posts and I will show exactly how I have incorporated these pieces into my wardrobe.
