Rockin 10 for 30: Day 7

A full week has gone by and I have introduced all of the 10 pieces for this 30 day challenge!

Yea me!

So now my goal is to mix it up and hopefully get a little more creative.

Yesterday I went to the Jeannie Mai Fashion Event at The Limited store at Water Tower.

The Limited has always been one of my favorite brands and although they have not delivered yet, having communicated with their CEO Linda Heasley on several occasions, I am hopeful that they soon will offer plus size selections.

{Update: I started writing this post yesterday before the event and I spoke to Linda last night for a couple of minutes and she says that they are still working on building a team for “my project” {her words…not mine} I didn’t harass her much, I was tired and she said that she would keep me posted.

Anyway, I am internally abusing myself for not having someone take a picture of me while I was there because my camera is pretty much toast, so even my tripod is of no use at this point.

But I did manage to take a couple of pictures of myself in mirrors…no complete full body pics but you get the idea..

Anyway, I am wearing the Asos V Back Jersey Dress backwards again.

I decided to add tights and so that it wasn’t just a black affair, I went with these grey tights. The picture was taken in a very tight space using my kids dresser mirror so…
i also carried my Coach {Spring 09} Parker purse

I am wearing the R2 Bauer Booties and although I didn’t know how long I would last in them, I am proud to say I did pretty well..

oh and i was wearing a pair of my favorite earrings {I think I got them from forever 21} and The Limited necklace that I previously wore as a bracelet here

I own a lot of heels but we have a serious you are so beautiful I love you/I hate you with the passion of a roaring 5 alarm fire kinda relationship.

So some days I can walk in them, some days I can’t and so I just go with it and that’s why you will see me in flats most day…

Earlier in the day I was out running errands, so I wore the Asos Curve Cami Wrap Jersey Jumpsuit with the New York & Co sweater, a thin belt and suede booties {I forgot to get the name and I am writing this away from home}

As you can see, you don’t get that crotch issue when your belt isn’t hiking it up too far! *rolls eyes..still not over Dex’s photo taking* I was also carrying my favorite Coach purse from the Legacy line.

It was so windy yesterday that i had a hard time keeping the sweater on…literally! So, at one point I put it on the outside of the sweater and then at another point, it got pretty warm, so I ended up taking both the sweater and belt off.

Day 8’s recap will feature the new replacement jeans, which I am much more happier with…

Til then
