{Community} Stitch Fix Now Offers Plus Size

Update: 3/9/17 – Just got my Stitch Fix box. Review to come!

This Stitch Fix post I wrote way back in 2011 has over 64,000 hits and counting. The “and counting” part is because 6 years later, Stitch Fix has finally entered the plus size game and the post is a top hit on my site once again.

I know a lot of people are excited that Stitch Fix has finally started offering plus sizes but for me, while I am always glad when we plus size women have more options, I’m still a little salty about my initial experience with them. But I am taking cues from the La La Land producer at the Oscars and getting on board because it truly is a win for plus size women and the hits on my site are definitely an indicator that it was something that was really wanted.

Here’s the deal in a nutshell. Stitch Fix now offers sizes 14W-24W & 1X-3X. They have partnered with some of our most loved brands like Eloquii, Kiyonna & City Chic and even added plus size options to their in house brands. Thy brought in 3 plus size bloggers to work with them on fit, etc.

The sign up process is pretty much the same as it was when I tried it 6 years ago, you take a style quiz where you enter you body specifications, aka height, weight, clothing sizes.

Then you answer some questions regarding fit/cut which I think is really important, so kudos to them for that because my bottoms are always loose in the waist because of my hips, so that is definitely something anyone styling me would need to take into consideration.

And then you rate some style collages and answer some questions regarding the types of occasions you frequent so they can determine if you need work, formal or casual clothes and how frequently you would want to receive clothes that would fit those types of occasions.

Then you answer questions about how much you normally spend on different items and if you want, you link to some of your social profiles so that the stylist can potentially learn more about your vibe.

And then finally you choose how often you want to receive a Fix, every 2-3 weeks, once a month (which is their most popular), etc. and they give you a delivery date. You then complete your payment info (they charge $20 for each styling shipment) and wait for your delivery.

Will you check Stitch Fix out?

I signed up and my first shipment is due to arrive March 11th, so stay tuned for my review.
