{shopping} Small Business Saturday…
hopefully you survived the food and the family time 😉 on Thanksgiving and are now ready to get a little shopping in.
in case ya didn’t know, for the second year, the saturday after Thanksgiving has been branded “Small Business Saturday“.
the Small Business Saturday is a way to encourage us to, as the name indicates, shop the small businesses.
as they put it, “When we all shop small, it will be huge”.
and there are so many fabulous fashion, beauty and lifestyle small businesses that could definitely benefit from our bucks.
here is one based right here in the Chi, that i love.
i held a greet and tea event there at the beginning of the year.
why? because i adore the owner and i love the shop.
you walk in and you feel a little like you have been transported to a different time.
a quieter time, where folks take time to write a note, or send a meaningful trinket, (or silly) greeting (like the card below).
so, hopefully you will add Shop Small to your holiday to do list!!
