{Tech} Guess What Mama’s Got?

A brand spankin new camera…and it was long overdue.

After I lost the one I had for over 7 years, during what was (and frankly still is, as I STILL can’t get over it) one of the most traumatizing, unbelievable moments of my life, I snagged a budget friendly camera.

It did it’s thang for awhile, you know…

I was able to capture some pretty good shots…even at night using my tripod and timer…

But I also wanted to chuck it into the nearest garbage can plenty a day when moments that should have been perfectly captured, were not.

So, when it finally died a short death a few weeks back, while I was a little miffed because of course there are always pictures to be taken, I wasn’t all that mad…

Like…thanks but good riddance…

I had grown tired of fooling around with it.

I had been toying with the idea of upgrading for some time but I honestly just was not all that eager to drop a lot of coins on one.
But a blogger must go on and you can’t do so without a camera and while my iphone has been coming in handy for quick snaps at events, there is only so much you can do with it, (although I do have some sweet apps on it that I think are blogger must haves…post to come).

The camera is a Canon EOS Rebel T3 (can you say 5 easy payments? Woot!). Obviously not the most current model in the line but after just a couple of random snaps straight out the box, I could not find a care to give about that…

So, welcome new camera. I think we are going to get along smashingly and you are actually going to make me do something I never do…read your instructions…
