{Lifestyle} Checking out Warby Parker Home Try-on
If you follow me on facebook or twitter, you may have seen me post this pic of my broken glasses.
I don’t know how they ended up broken. They were in their case in my backpack and when I went to take them out, just from the sound they made, I knew something was wrong and sure enough…they were broken.
And while my case is plasticy/rubber I have used it for over a year without issue, so…duhnoo..
Anyway, these were my spare glasses that I had been rocking because I misplaced/lost my main pair and I had been saying I was going to replace them for months and now, although I slapped a little glue on them because I am leaving town tomorrow and I NEED to see (especially at night and far away) but this glue situation is not the business, so I have no choice but to get some new ones eventually.
So this seems like the perfect opportunity to do something I have wanted to do for a while, check out Warby Parker’s Home Try-on program.
Basically you choose 5 pairs, they ship them to you to try free for 5 days, you (hopefully) fall in love with a pair, order them and ship back the try ons.
And yes, I notice the theme, I am a tortoise family fan, but in my defense, a couple of different color ones that I wanted to try were not available 😉
p.s. Another cool thing about Warby Parker? Their buy a pair, give a pair program. You buy one, they give one to someone in need. I like.
