Hey Delights!
Because I am a big believer in the cumulative effect of things over time, I like to give myself what I call “small moments of joy” regularly. These moments consist of really simple things that don’t require a lot of time or effort or energy but they add so much to my days.
Here are 5 “small things” that I did in one 24 hour period recently to spark joy for myself.
Pajamas | Acrylic Tray (similar)| Tufted Bed (similar)| Flannel Sheet Set (so soft) | Eye Masks
✨I spritzed drops of one of my favorite essential oils on my shower liner so that it mixed with the humidity and filled the air during my shower. It was 🙌🏾.
I pick up a lot of my essential oils at Walmart (I’ve purchased this oil trio multiple times), Marshalls, Tjmaxx, and Whole Foods.
✨I hung some of my plant babies over my bed (adding more soon) & I use a variety of string lights for a chill vibe when I am winding down for the night.
I especially love fairy lights because they are strung on wire that’s thin & easy to stuff in places.
✨I buy all the cute seasonal pajama sets (every season) & I love going through my whole mood process to decide which ones to wear. We got 10 inches of snow this weekend and more on the way so I chose my snowflakes pajamas set to make me smile instead of cry about it
✨I line my trays with different paper designs that make me smile regularly. Since I t’s love month, so I will use a variety of hearts & the like. I usually get my paper/pads from Michaels.
✨I ate cake in bed 😋 while using my favorite eye mask 𝑔𝒾𝒻𝓉𝑒𝒹 𝒻𝓇𝑜𝓂 𝓂𝓎 Wander Beauty family. It’s a perfect way to end a day for me 🍰
