{What I Wore} Head to Toe Au Faux + The Perfect LBD For EVERY Body

Hey Delights!

I attended a pre-opening event & tour of the new Eloquii Chicago store and a couple of weeks later I attended the official grand opening. I pulled out my fab Violeta by Mango faux leather cape & rocked a gorgeous asymmetrical one shoulder faux leather top with a vintage Eloquii skirt from a year or so ago & some oldie but goodie slinkback shoeties (similar style available in 2 colors).

All the blogger babes were there and I had such a great time styling my cousin & smiling at the transformation that took place for her in the dressing room. A little backstory. My cousin Sonya’s style is relatively conservative but I knew the moment that I invited her to the event that I was going to get her to try some new things.
So, we walked the store a bit and I pulled a few pieces that I knew were not necessarily her usual cup of tea and we hit the dressing room.

First up is this faux leather dress that is seriously amazing on every single woman that I have seen it on. And I am not exaggerating. I have seen it on size 14’s up to size 26’s and it is banging on every single one of them. It is a must have. And bonus: it also comes in Eloquii’s Viola fit, which is their unique cut tailored for women whose hips are 1-2 sizes larger than their busts

It is such a great piece and she, my very conservative cousin totally fell in love with it and purchased it. YAY! I was so glad that she was willing to step out of her fashion box a bit and own that when something makes you feel as amazing as this dress made her feel, you NEED to have it.

She also fell in love with this caped sleeved dress and this gorgeous tie neck cape coat (that I wore here). And those lace sleeves you see peeking out of the coat are from this gorgeous ruffle blouse.

Kudos to you cuz, you look mahvelous!

Side note: People are always asking me how you would rock this coat and I always tell that it’s a layering piece, so you have lots of options. I always layer jackets and sweaters under and over similar sleeveless pieces like here & here.
