I know that it has been a minute since I’ve done a podcast but now that I have my voice back I am
excited to come to you with a new episode, The 14th episode actually of The CurvaCast.
This is a short but sweet episode but there are several things that I wanted to share with you guys, in particular what I woke up to this morning.
I woke this morning to an email from Forever 21 announcing that they are selling swimsuits from Monif C so of course I had to gab a little bit about that. I literally recorded the podcast minutes after I saw the news, so basically we have F21 & Monif to thank for this episode 😆. And in case you did not know, some of Monif C’s swimsuits are also available on ASOS.
Also both Gabourey Sidibe & Ashley Graham currently have new books out. Gabi’s book is titled “This Is Just My Face: Try Not to Stare” and I have already finished it so I share my thoughts on it. And Ashley’s book is titled “A New Model: What Confidence, Beauty, and Power Really Look Like“.
Like seriously, are we not living in an awesome time of exposure for plus size women?💃
Anyway, to wrap things up, I share & talk a bit about two Instagram accounts, Jonquelart and NÜNUDE that I am currently loving and I think you will too.
