{Five Fab} For the Weekend Vol. 10

Happy Friday! I told myself that I was not going to use this space to rant about the weather (you can check out my snapchat for that 😉 and lots of other happenings in my day) but girl….girl…GIRLLLL. I take back the nice things I said about Mother Nature & that beautiful snow when I went to get my tree.

Anyway, I will be cloaked in layers to keep warm and I hope that you will be too. On with this week’s Five Fab…

Shop: Free shipping day is TODAY so lots of your fave online shops are offering free shipping, which to me is the best perk of them all. I don’t know what it is but I hate paying for shipping and have abandoned many a cart because of it. So kudos to free shipping day!

Ashley Stewart – They are offering up to 50% off certain pieces + free shipping. I am totally loving this silver Metallic Plisse Pleat Halter Dress. It is New Year’s Eve perfect, sparkly and twirl worthy but not a dress that you would have to “fight with” all night.

JCPenny – Free shipping + various deals including 40% off some of the plus styles and I love this Lace Mesh Sheath Dress

Target – They have had free shipping for months now but I wanted to include them & this fab Plaid Print Hooded Poncho that I have had my eye on for a while now. It’s 40% off!!

Lane Bryant – Those style fix deals from last week’s Five Fab for the Weekend are still on + free shipping happening. And I am loving my  If It’s Snowing I’m Not Going PJ’s .

Wear: And speaking of those pajamas, I am calling them my winter protest pajamas. Here I am lounging, well working in them in bed.

Watch: It’s Joe’s birthday today and we were planning to go and see Collateral Beauty tonight but decided to chill instead but it is definitely on our MUST SEE list. She loves Will Smith…like LOVES. I have also seen several interviews the past week where Will talks about how the movie has helped him deal with his father’s passing last month, so I am expecting it to be a real feel good, emotional flick.




Read: Amazon is currently offering $5 off any $15 print book purchase thru 12/17 (code GIFTBOOK), so if you had a book on your list that you were holding off on getting, this might be a nice time to snag it. And speaking of feel good, one of my favorite Instagram accounts, Humans of New York has a couple of books out. I purchased Humans of New York Stories months ago. I highly recommend it & it would make a good gift.

Drink/Eat: I got an email with these 1-Bowl Gluten Free Ginger Cookies in my inbox and instantly went to print it out. Ginger is my jam and they sound so delicious.
