{Fab Five} For the Weekend | Vol.4
TGIF Fabs! I can not believe how fast October has flown by & you know the rest of the year with the holidays will go by even faster, so I am really trying to enjoy things even more. So this weekend, I am going to go to Randolph Market, which I haven’t gone to nearly enough this year and just leisurely browse. Then I am going to finish revamping my shoe cabinet (seen here).
The weather halted my process but it should be on the team this weekend, so I can get this done.
Shop: One of the best things about Fall is pulling out your boots and I love the look of over the knee boots but we know historically that finding ones that fit your calves and your knees comfortably can be a challenge. Thankfully in the past couple of years, more brands have started selling OTK books that fit wide calves & knees.
And I love these flat over the knee, wide calf boots from Ashley Stewart because for one, they actually go over the knee unlike a lot of the styles that are being billed as over the knee and they are a nice flat style, so you can rock them regularly and they come in three cute colors.
Wear: And since this is the start of the most wonderful, sparkly time of the year, I put together a few pieces to sparkle these streets up in like this full on sequin look I rocked forever ago. I am definitely a girl who will rock sequins anytime. Are you?
Read: I listened to the audiobook version (currently free with trial) of The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl last year and I am stoked that Issa Rae has been able to basically turn her views on life into such a booming career that so many other women are relating to.
Watch: And while you are at it, you could totally watch Issa Rae’s new series “Insecure” which dropped earlier this month on HBO. Go, Issa, GO!
Drink/Eat: Y’all know from my previous Fab Five For the Weekend posts that I am all about comfort food, so this weeks pic should not come as a surprise but doesn’t this curry look sooooo goooodddd!?!!
