{Five Fab} Movies That Will Move You To Netlix NOW!
What did we do before Netflix? I mean seriously. Netflix like Google has become a verb and one that a lot of us could not do without. I mean have you ever witnessed the fallout of a Netflix outage on Twitter? It’s not pretty.
So, while I am not a bonafide member of Netflix or die, I do love all the options that are at my fingertips at any given moment, whether on my laptop, phone or tv {via my Apple TV}.
And while my queue is normally mostly filled with foreign flicks and randomness, I recently added & watched a few that you need to Netflix NOW!
Of Mind and Music – An incredible movie that celebrates music, New Orleans and human connection. It literally broke my heart and then restored it.
Echo Park – Woman leaves the high life in Beverly Hills & her annoying fiance and family, for a real life & a new man. I love the urban eat, pray, love vibe of this movie.
The Skinny – From the creator of Noah’s Arc (LOVE), this movie is about a group of weekend friends trip to New York City and some of the crazy ways that humans can really muck up their relationships.
Difret – Based on a true story this movie starts off brutally and I almost turned it off because I have to be in the mood for suffering but I am glad that I did not because I ended up loving it.
Jenny’s Wedding – Not gonna lie, I was very surprised at how good Katherine Heigel was in this movie. Not that she is a bad actress, I was just not used to seeing her do drama but she did the damn thang in this movie.
And I realized after I posted the last movie in this list, that these movies are all about pretty serious human experiences, which I love but if you are in the mood for something lighter, like a little romance, check out my romantic movie recommendations.
Have you see any of these movies? What are you Netflix’n now?
