{Five Fab} Things To Rock The Weekend!

HAPPY WEEKEND Lovelies!
Last weekend I was still taking it easy and resting up my poor back after my trip to the ER and mama nature was still hating on us with crazy temps, so if I was going to leave the flat it would have been out of desperation for a peppermint mocha but other than that, I was on total hibernation status.
And while laying on the couch semi-conscious, flicking through the never ending Comcast on demand menus, I thought wouldn’t it be nice to have some lists with some good recommendations for these kind of moments and that is where this post was born.

I am not sure if it will be a weekly thang but I wanted to share with you some things that I have enjoyed or still am enjoying  or want to try that I think would totally rock your weekend.

 Watch

I finally watched “The Theory of Everything” and it had such a profound effect on me. Have you seen it? I don’t want to drop to many spoilers but I was just struck the entire time by the story. And the MUSIC, Soundtrack by Johann Johannsson just fills me, especially the song Rowing, it’s so beautiful.

Shop

I love my backpacks and when I saw this cute Vera Bradley drawstring backpack, 1. I was totally shocked because when I think of the brand, I always think of florals and more country chic and 2. I totally fell in love with it.

It comes in 8 colors but this yellow is my favorite.
Oh and you can currently save $20% off the entire site and
I also saw some pretty confetti print bags that are worth a look too.

Read

I am a total fool for romance and e-book library is chock full of them, so I will probably be recommending a lot of them in this section when I do this type of post. First up is All That Glitters and it centers around two women, one Latina and one African American and it is a perfect weekend chilling on the couch or in the bath kinda read.

Eat

I saw this Trader Joe’s Kale Quinoa Salad I believe in an email and I can not wait to get my hands on it. It has so many of my favorite things all in this one little bag! I am not even sure if it has hit the shelves yet here in Chicago because I was just in Trader Joe’s, Have you seen it?

Download
Yes, I know there’s been a lot of side eye talk about TIDAL especially considering the dramatic way it was dropped but I jumped on the TIDAL wave and am trying it, I mean there’s a 30 day free trial, so why the heck not? Anyway, so far From the exclusive video to the playlists created by your faves line Bey, it’s pretty cool and I have come across so much new music.

What say you? What would be on your rock the weekend list?
