Street Style Meets Street Art w/Perrier® #StreetArtByPerrier #sp
Hey Lovelies, sharing something fun from one of my favorite brands, Perrier®. One thing is for sure, that no matter what time of the year it is, a girl needs to stay hydrated. And for me, water is my main hydration of choice. Add to that hydration a little sparkling fizz and ahhhh….
I love street art and think that it’s pretty cool that Perrier® has re-branded its Sparkling Natural Mineral Water label in the most fun way. They commissioned three world-famous street art artists to create 9 new limited edition labels for their glass and plastic bottles and new slim cans.
The designs are colorful and fun and showcase three very distinct styles of street art. I love the exploding floral mandalas from the Japanese artist Sasu on the Perrier® PET plastic bottles. They are so vibrant and pretty and look like they are blossoming right on the bottles.
JonOne, a New Yorker who resides in Paris, added his abstract flavor to the classic Perrier® glass bottles.
And Brazilian artist Kobra’s kaleidoscope of colors inspired by vintage icons and utilizing pinup girls is pretty sweet. I am still on the hunt to find a can or two with his designs on them.
I love when brands and art meet and for this shoot I wanted to highlight a street art piece that is one of my all time favorites here in Chicago titled Reaching Back, Moving Forward, Lest We Forget the Song of 47th Street. It is a huge mosaic mural full of color, history and hope.
Because the piece contains so many iconic images from history, I went with an old school inspired style look, rocking my favorite thrifted faux fur coat, a graphic print dress and new meets old vintage style heels.
