{Fab Five} Must Have Books For Your Library #NaBloPoMo
I am a major book lover and this time of year is definitely a perfect time to throw on a cozy sweater and cuddle up on the couch reading. And while I don’t get to do this nearly as much as I want to, here are five books that I think are definitely worth being on your must read list.
Although I have postponed my Paris trip because we are planning to move in the Spring and hopefully purchasing a home and I am saving towards that, this book, The Paris Journal: Book One is still very high on my reading list.
I originally purchased it in digital form but it just didn’t do it justice. I mean it’s Paris after all and while the author does a magnificent job of making you feel as though you are right there on the subway, streets, shops, etc with her, it just isn’t the same as being able to hold the book in your hands and really take in their beauty.

And while some books like The Paris Journal: Book One need to be tangible, others are perfect in ebook form and it truly has upped my reading game being able to do so on my phone and on my nook (which I need to upgrade). I am thinking of finally getting some type of ipad but not sure which one, so any suggestions would be appreciated.
But currently I am reading ebooks via the Amazon Kindle app and my new favorite Oyster Books, which is basically Netflix for books. You pay $9.95 a month and read unlimited titles on your smartphone or computer. More on this to come. But you can use my link and you will get a $15 credit.
And there are lots of fabulous women who have rocked our world with their fashion but none quite a much as Diane Von Furstenberg and her iconic wrap dress. She is such an inspiration and has written her memoir titled “The Woman I Wanted To Be” and I can’t wait to dive into it.
I am currently re-reading the classic Their Eyes Were Watching God by THE Zora Neale Hurston on Oyster. Zora can surely take you on a ride with her words. You feel like you are sitting there with the characters and shaking your head or laughing with them. I love that…

And call me sentimental, but I love romance novels of all kinds. I remember back in the day when I had my Harlequin subscription and I couldn’t wait for those books to arrive. I would devour them.
And while classical love stories are great and all, as of late I have gravitated towards more quirky love stories like the series of books from Romi Moondi, They are all so laugh out loud funny as she navigates her life, her family and her search for love. The trilogy starts with Year of The Chick and ends with Romi coming full circle in her life in Paris in Never or Forever. You can read The Year of The Chick for free or purchase a physical copy here.
And lastly, with the new year fast approaching, I thought a little inspiration for a better life was in order. I read Sir Richard Branson’s Screw It, Let’s Do It: Lessons In Life, earlier in the year and it and his unconventional ways really excited me to push forward with my goals and to dream even bigger. You can read it on Oyster for free or purchase the ebook on Amazon.
So, there you have it, my first edition of {Fab Five} Must Have Books For Your Library. I hope to post more editions on a regular basis in the coming year.
