{Fab Five} Ladies Who Rule!

One of the things that I alternately love and abhor about the internet is the vast amount of information we have access to. Thankfully a lot of times, I am able to balance what I abhor with feel good and inspirational moments.

Here are a few recent ones…

I missed all of the Golden Globes social media madness and only found out the day after (via instagram pics discussing her dress and the original designers claims that someone altered it after he gave it to her) that there was lots of ugliness going on regarding Gabby Sibide.

Poor Gabby can never just be, can she?  Anyway, she obviously took the nastiness in stride…

I could not imagine having to deal with the constant barrage of opinions from people who think that it’s ok to say whatever they want about another human being that seems to cloak everything that Gabby does.

So kudos to her and I hope that she truly is keeping her spirits up. I don’t think I would have been as gracious in my response.

And of course this new year, I have made some resolutions about how I want to do certain things differently in my life and this article by Lindsey Saletta on THE EVERYGIRL poses 4 perfect questions that we all should be asking ourselves.

I am particularly struck by the first one because it speaks heavily to me and that long, never ending to do list that I have.
I love a smart, in your face, no apologies type of woman and Jennifer Dziura is that personified and her site Bullish dishes out advice in a style that some people might shirk from but I LOVE it!

A good place to start: Best of Bullish: 2013 Roundup and Reading List

Gala Darling has always been one of my favorite bloggers. I always find myself spending time on her site going thru old posts because she always writes pieces that make me see the world in brighter, more hopeful colors.

Her post: Radical Self Love In Action: Start A Gratitude Jar is a great reminder to acknowledge what you are grateful for.

Lastly, I came across Tiffany of The Werk Place via this Pinterest pin and completely fell in love with her style. I love her use of pattern, fabrics and layers. It’s so fun!

Fab Five Out!
