Life} Sunday, Sunday – Why They Stared, The Fun We Had & What I Broke

I am writing this post from said iphone instead of my computer because for whatever reason, the Comcast connection just went on the blink so we don’t have tv or internet services.

I am also crossing my fingers that I can actually get it to post tonight because my 3G service seriously must mean 3 giggles, to describe what a joke the signal is.

So needless to say, it has been an interesting night.

But annoyances aside, it has also been a pretty awesome day.

I woke up are 6:30 am tweeted a bit, posted this pic on instagram because it was exactly how i was feeling at the time.

I then promptly fell back to sleep & didn’t get back up until 11am when joe sent me this text.

Although I responded with the link to the above mentioned instagram post, I gladly got up because we had plans to go & do one of my favorite things, check out a street food festival!!

We went to Street Food Artistry & had a pretty awesome time, eating, meeting new people, eating, sipping on libations, dancing, checking out the entertainment and eating some more.

I wore my bling encrusted bra because my bra was going to show due to the cut of the top & if folks have never seen a lil cleavage…you’re welcome.

It was a perfect day & we were finally satisfied in every way & made our way home with thoughts of the major food coma vegetation to come leading the conversation.

Finally we get to the flat & are deep in chill mood, sucking down the order of truffle fries we grabbed to go & listening to music on our phones & that’s when I set my iphone on a pillow, turned from it and minutes later without looking or thinking went to move the pillow and SPLAT-OWW!

As you can see, I was listening to the most lovely song from Yo-Yo Ma {http://open.spotify.com/track/2faCSdqKzqzJ5We9M5va4R} when this all went down & I feel like I owe it to him that I was so amazingly calm about the situation because the song makes me so happy!

We were capping off the night watching OWN & I am 100 times more excited to see “The Butler” after watching Oprah talk to the director & actors. And is it me or is Forrest Whittaker getting sexy in his old age or what? #HeyBoo 

And just when Anna Nicole’s daughter was about to be featured on “Where Are They Now”, the cable went out.

Oh well…turns out there’s an issue in the area with no ETA for repair which blows but Joe just made some tea/lemonade which seems so appropriate for a night like this one.
