{events} Recap: #SummertimeChi
As previously mentioned here, I have been making the
rounds to support some of my favorite peeps and to get
in on the some of the summer fun here in Chicago.
Here are a few things that I have done…
I stopped in to support my girl Charron of ChicChicago at the
Some Like It Hot! Ladies Night held at Carnivale.
She was there with the two books that she has self published
within the last year, “Karma Is My Bitch” & “Moirai.
I am so proud of her for just doing her thang and
not waiting for someone to do it for her!

I also attended the YWCA The New Look of Leadership fashion event,
which featured local business professionals modeling and raised more than
$5,000 to support the YWCA’s programs for women and children!
This guy, Malik Murray (Ariel Investments) was so funny.
The ladies loved him and he loved working the runway.

I also loved Cheryl Pearson-McNeil (Nielsen), she was a diva, diva, diva!
We also went to see Cirque Shanghai and I could not believe
that I forgot my camera but it was pretty fantastic.

I also did a quick run thru to check out the Barbour and Jack Spade collaboration pieces.
They are not cheap but definitely investment pieces.
And of course there was Chicago in White!
