mobile bloggin'…

because i am traveling light and not even using a suitcase (only using my weekend bag), i am also not taking my laptop with me to new york city, so i will be blogging from my phone.

it will make my life easier AND insure that i don’t end up backlogged with posts.

the tools that i use to mobile blog are really easy to use.

because it is mobile blogging and typing on a phone is well, not much fun, i use the dragon dictation app.

it’s free and so simple.

you talk into it and it types. it’s not 100 percent on the translation but it’s pretty darn good.

so i dictate and copy and paste the results into the blogpress app, which i have used for months now to blog while on the go.

it is one of the rare apps that i actually paid for (it costs $2.99) but it is so worth it.

you can pretty much do anything that you would do blogging on a computer, from uploading pics and videos, to using labels/categories, etc.

i seriously love technology!

oh and if you follow me on twitter, you know i am a big public transit girl and love the chicago transit app because it helps me to keep it moving and get anywhere i need to, so of course i am using a transit app while i am in nyc and it’s pretty sweet too!
