Sassy City Chicks Does Chicago
A new shopping event, Sassy City Chicks hit the Chicago scene tonight and the ladies (and gents) came out to play.
I must admit that I didn’t have the highest hopes for this event simply because lately these types of events just haven’t been much fun.
They are usually too crowded, too hot and the vendors are usually not that diverse. And when they have food, there isn’t usually much for those of us who don’t eat meat.
The only thing they usually get right and that they have plenty of is drinks…
So needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised tonight.
It was in a nice location, Venue One and it was set up well, with the exception of the drink area, which i would have split into two different locations to not crowd one area so much.
There was a variety of vendors on hand that weren’t just the same old same old vendors that we see at so many events and i even purchased some bath goodies from kejor
very substantial and colorful…
Oh, I almost forgot about the goodie bag…
it was ok. the one i got had a pair of panties in it that would never fit my goods but the softlips balm, echo tools brush, portable brush/mirror and nick chavez hair mist were decent.
All in all, it was a good first date for Sassy City Chicks in Chicago and I would attend it again.
