rewindin..

so at the beginning of the year, i mapped out some of the big events that i planned to attend this year, like blogging while brown and fffweek

i did the whole thing, secured care for the beast, worked out budgets and then 2 wks ago i changed all of my plans and decided not to do attend any of these summer events.

why?

because i have made some major decisions about my worklife and my future that require me to revamp how i spend my money.

i still budget in my slush fund for beauty and fashion but at the moment, i have too many other priorities that require that i am extra selective about things like travel.

and as much as i loved both of those events last year, i am going to spend my travel time and money on more personal adventures, like going to louisiana for my granddads 90th bday

and the great thing about the world we live in is that via the power of social media and blogging, i will get to enjoy those events right here at home…
