I haven’t tweeted or said much about the unimaginable tragedy in Japan because most of the time it seems so overwhelming and talking about it has felt so inconsequential.

But one thing that I do know, that I can wrap my brain around, is that with all tragedies, great and small, when humans come together, even in the smallest of ways, we can make a phenomenal difference.
