Monday {Makeup & Beauty}

Since I will be without internet service at home until {cross my fingers} Tuesday, I am posting this early while I have access.

One of my new years resolutions was to create a list of monthly must haves and on the top of that list was to start going for facials.

This was at the top of the list because frankly last year I made a mess of my skin. I was having a moment right before I turned 40 and thought I would try out some of the anti aging products {which I did not need} and totally overdid it.

So Thursday I went for my first facial in years and it was the best experience I have had in a spa EVER.

I went to Tamilla’s Skin Care and I will never go anywhere else!

Besides the great time and attention that Theresa, the little dynamo owner of the shop took with my skin, she was very open to answering questions and offering sound advice.

And she was not product pimpin, trying to push things that I did not need on me, unlike some places.

She exclusively uses Bioelements and PCA skin products because she feels that they are the best.

She is a trained biologist who feel in love with skincare while working in her grandparents salon years ago.

She tried to go the straight and narrow route of being a biology teacher but her passion for skin care called her back and women all over are reaping the benefits.

She got extensive training in Poland and spent years working at big name corporate skin companies here in America before branching out on her own.

She spent a lot of time working to hydrate my incredibly parched skin and I left with two products that should help me to continue to do so in between appointments {which I will definitely be making monthly}.

The Bioelement’s Equalizer Toner {which smells delicious} which is recommended for all skin types because it’s alcohol-free and laced with Bioelements Adaptogens, chamomile extract and aromatherapist oils.

PCA Skin après peel® hydrating balm {which smells incredible also} which is recommended for normal to dry and mature skin. It contains a long list of fruit and nut extract oils.

And as you can see from the reviews on yelp.com, I am not the only person who basically has fallen in love with Theresa.

If you are in or near Chicago and really need someone to show your skin some love, especially during these drying harsh winter months, I recommend Theresa wholeheartedly.

I can not wait to go back next month!

Next Monday I will post my review of The Revlon ColorStay Overtime™ Lipcolor.

I have tried to wear it three different days and well, I will save it for the review.

I will also add reviews of the two products that I got from Theresa in the near future.
