Brrrr..

I try really hard not to spend the entire winter complaining about the weather.

I mean yes boo boo, we all know it’s demon cold out.

The ice sickles dangling from my nostrils is real time proof!

{icckkyy..yes i know. but dont try and pretend that this has not happened to you!}

WHATEVER!

Anyway, so I really just don’t want to harp on it. And I am sure I aggravate the heck out of people when I say “Oh it’s January in Chicago”!

But really, the only thing you can do is be as prepared as possible.

And I don’t know about you but when I am outside running errands or whatever, if my feet get cold, the gig is up!

I am done. I end up all “additudinal” and just wanna go home and get in the bath.

Like the other night.

I was in the post office getting my mail and postage and I ended up just lounging there on one of their lord only knows whats on it chairs for a bit because I was being cute and wore my suede aint for 7 degrees boots instead of the ‘big girls’.

So I say this from experience.

Warm boots are a necessity.

By my “big girls” I mean my Columbia boots.

Mind you these boots are not about fashion. When the need arises for me to have to pull these girls boots out, fashion is the last thought I entertain.

All I am thinking is one pair of socks or two.

{which is huge for me because historically I do not wear socks in the winter. but a girl is getting old and my tolerance weaker 0_0!}

Anyway, if by chance you were holding out, hoping to with your grand mental efforts will mother nature to keep the temperature above freezin my tail off temps and haven’t gotten a pair or two, here are my suggestions.
