About the Business

Tonight I attended an entrepreneur event that I was actually going to blow off because my day had been so full to the point where I had only eaten a banana and had a couple of cups of tea by 4:45.

Thankfully, I decided to grab something while I was running from one place to another, {a chai and some french fries, albeit the most ridiculous of choices nutrition wise but that’s what happens when you don’t quite plan it out} and just go.

Anyway the seminar was held at Saper Law Offices. It was called “In the Business of Art + Forming Your Corp or LLC”. It focused on for profit business formation, trademarks, copyrights, contracts etc.

Mind you I already knew a lot of what was discussed but it was really nice to be in a room full of people who are looking for ways to take their creative pursuits to the next level.

And just being there helped me tighten up some of the ideas that I have about my own ventures and even planted the seed for a new one.

The Principal Attorney of Saper Law Offices, Daliah Saper is really smart and has a very laid back approach to a subject that can be very daunting.

They hold a variety of seminars on a host of topics, from fashion and entertainment, to social media and almost everything in between.

And the firms website is a treasure trove of legal business information.
