LBD Season!

This is definitely the time of the year where you really need a haute little black dress.

With all the parties and events that are bound to (over)fill your calendar, the last thing you want to spend your time on is wondering what to wear!

So this is the first in a series of my suggestions for three can’t go wrong LBD’s.

First and foremost a great dress should not be work. Meaning, you should be able to put it on and not have to worry about it all night because you should be way too busy having fun!

For example this Pintuck Sleeveless Dress is simple and sexy and totally no fuss.

The satiny material, the feminine neckline and the always flattering empire waist makes this a go to dress for any occasion.

Pair it with a simple heel and minimal jewelry like in the picture or glam it up a bit with a statement necklace and easy wear but definitely leaves an impression heels

Or belt it..there are so many possibilities for this one.

Next up a Lace sheath dress.

This dress made my list for a couple of reasons.

Lace is holiday season perfect (actually any season perfect but it just feels extra special during this time of the year).

Secondly, the dress is very versatile. You can wear it to work under a blazer and make a few accessory changes and it’s off to the parties!

{here it is on me! sorry its not flat on me. i will get these full body self pics right eventually lol}

My third choice is a longer length dress. I don’t get to wear this type of dress often but I love the “divaness” of it.

With the slit and the v notched halter like neckline.

It’s so va-va-voom understated sexy.

I would go with the the nude leg, simple strapped heel and drop earrings pairing and because I love the neckline so much I would most likely not wear a necklace but I would probably add a standout bracelet and wow!

    My honey agrees with you on the longer dresses and I am definitely thinking of mixing it up for New Years this year and going long!
