Hey Delights!
My favorite travel online resource, TripAdvisor.com will soon be revamped & going social. You will be able to save & book all of your travel plans on TripAdvisor. And you will be able to follow your friends and favorite brands via your own personal feed like other social platforms. But the best part to me, is that it will streamline planning travel, which can be like having a part time job sometimes. You will be able to create a personal feed that is all about the hotels, the experiences, the restaurants & all the different amenities & events related to the travel destination you are searching for.
Love that!

TripAdvisor is always my go to when I’m planning any kind of a trip. I planned our trip to Puerto Rico (above) using it, which was really a big help since I had never been there before. And when the weather got bad during our road trip last winter, I pulled out my phone and opened the TripAdvisor app to find some good rates for hotels. But even if it’s just a car rental for the weekend, I am going to always check what kind of rates TripAdvisor has first. And that’s because they consolidate a lot of the best deals. Also, I might find a hotel or something on another site but before I even consider booking it, I check out the reviews & prices on TripAdvisor.
And this is because I know on TripAdvisor I will get the real, real. You see the pictures that actual travelers have posted. Because who wants to see the glammed up photos from when the location was first built? What I want are real pics from a current travelers perspective. I also like to get a feel for any service issues people may have had. And to get a heads up on any anomalies like construction going on. Or if particular rooms are recommended, etc, etc. There is just always a wealth of information to be found.
Historically because I was mainly using TripAdvisor to get information, I have only left a couple of reviews over the years but I plan to start adding a lot more, so follow me on TripAdvisor.
Also this is not a sponsored post, I just love TripAdvisor and wanted to share it along with announcing the changes coming to my JetSetCurves twitter account and my new JetSetCurves instagram account. Starting NOW, I will be using both of them to share plus size travelers (so tag your travel posts #JetSetCurves). I will also use them to share the experiences, brands, etc that make traveling for us enjoyable. So follow me (Twitter – Instagram – TripAdvisor) and stay tuned!!
But in the meantime, if you don’t already have a TripAdvisor account you should totally sign up now, so that when the new experience drops you can jump right in & start planning and wish listing.

This was good! I never use trip advisor for anything but now I’ll make sure too. I know this wasn’t a sponsor post, but you did a good job of selling them !

Trip advisor is my best friend. Yes, I am a travel agent but I like to see the customers pictures of the resort verses Photoshop pictures. Trip advisor is informative.
Jaye says
Yes! Total BFF status.

I’m a planner and reviewer so I’m always on TripAdvisor. I use it in my own city too, sometimes an outsiders opinion helps lol
Jaye says
Oh definitely. Tourists usually get way more into the happenings in a city than natives
